SUPPORTING PEOPLE LIVING WITH LONG-TERM HEALTH CONDITIONS

A warm cuppa,
a friendly chat,
a real difference.

Cuppa Squad brings together people living with long-term health conditions across Birmingham — because nobody should face it alone.

WHO WE ARE

Born from a simple idea — that no one should manage their health alone

Founded in Birmingham in 2015, Cuppa Squad grew from a simple observation: people living with long-term health conditions were saying “I wish we could keep meeting like this” after NHS education sessions ended.

Today, we run community groups across Birmingham where people come together monthly to chat, share experiences, and support one another, all over a cuppa and completely free.

Our groups welcome adults  of all ages, each built on compassion, connection, and care. From diabetes to complex health needs, we provide the warmth and understanding that formal healthcare often can’t.
